Everyone's favorite friendly neighborhood Spiderman is crawling its way into the PlayStation 4 (PS4) market fast, as the developers of the game have revealed new gameplay details and developments, hinting that the release might be just around the corner.

Art Director for the upcoming game, Jacinda Chew, has revealed that the controls and the gameplay for "Marvel's Spiderman" are set to be the most accurate and complex yet in the history of video game adaptations for the superhero. This means that the developers may have finally been able to replicate the web-spinning action seen in the most recent iterations of "Spiderman" movies, something which was hard to achieve in the past due to hardware and software limitations in gaming.

With that said, it will be possible for players to make Spiderman dive straight down at a 90-degree angle and still have him swing into safety a few feet from hitting the ground. Like a true spider as well, Spiderman will not be receiving fall damage and will automatically land in style, even from a 100-storey drop.

In addition to the gameplay details revealed by Chew, it also seems that the box art for the upcoming game is nearly finished. This will be the one which is displayed on the physical copies of the "Marvel's Spiderman," as well as its online posters. This could well be an indication that the developers are getting ready for a full release on the PS4, but at the moment, no dates have been confirmed yet. PS4 owners and Spiderman fans might want to hold their breaths.

Insomniac, the developer of the game, has also promised that "Marvel's Spiderman" will feature new elements that have never been seen before in any "Spiderman" game. The game will also mix Spiderman's exhilarating battle against crime and his alter ego Peter Parker's struggles as a young adult.

"Marvel's Spiderman" has no release date yet but is expected to arrive this year only on the PS4.
