Things are starting to get serious between the couples as they get to know each other in "Married at First Sight" season 3.

After meeting each other and walking down the aisle at the same time, the new batch of couples are now preparing to begin their lives together.

But the previous episode of the social experiment-themed reality show featured the couples' first night together. Two couples seemed to hit it off, while the third one looked like the wedding will be over very soon.

In the episode, Tres Russell revealed that it will not be impossible for him to fall in love with his new wife Vanessa Nelson. However, the couple decided not to consummate their marriage during their first night together.

Tres said that he wants Vanessa to know that he can wait until she is ready to be intimate with him. On the other hand, Vanessa said she wants to have a meaningful first encounter with him, but it is just too soon.

Vanessa also learned more about Tres's past during their honeymoon in St. John on the U.S. Virgin Island. Tres himself revealed that he used to party a lot and date more women before joining the show. Tres said that he is hoping to change his old ways with Vanessa's help, but she is a little worried that he might still be unprepared for marriage.

Meanwhile, the other pair Ashley Doherty and David Norton seemed to be very comfortable with each other. They even shared the same bed during their first night. David also admitted to Ashley during their honeymoon in Arizona that he wants to be physically intimate with her, even if it is just kissing and cuddling. But she told the viewers that she still needed to have a little space, and her husband never pressured her to it if she was not yet comfortable.

On the other hand, the third couple is not as fortunate as the others. During this episode, Sam Role revealed that she was unhappy with the pairing because she does not find her husband Neil Bowlus attractive. However, it does not mean that she will give up on her marriage that easily. Can Sam find ways to make her marriage with Neil work?

"Married at First Sight" season 3 airs Tuesdays, 9 p.m. EST on FYI.
