There is much hype surrounding the most recent film in the "Jurassic Park" franchise, "Jurassic World." To coincide with the release of the latest dinosaur flick, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment also released a new platform title, "Lego Jurassic World."

However, much like any other Lego game, most of the puzzles involved are head-scratchers for those new to the gameplay or not familiar with the series' background. Gamers who want to ace the latest title need not worry about the hard levels, though, as there are numerous tips and tricks for playing "Lego Jurassic World."

Breaking things is necessary

To buy equipment and uncover hidden items, players are required to break objects. Breaking things allow the players to get Gold and Silver studs. These studs serve as in-game currency, with one silver stud equivalent to 10 and one gold stud to 100. There are also higher-valued studs, such as Blue studs at 1,000 and Purple studs valued at 10,000.

Breaking objects as well as shooting enemies are also sometimes required in order to progress in the game.

Characters have unique skillsets

Although all characters can build equipment in the game, some characters have unique skills that a player needs in order to push through in the game. For example, Dr. Alan Grant is one of the few who has the skill to bone-build. In addition, players need to sometimes switch characters in order to make headway in story mode, particularly around set objectives such as investigating objects surrounded by blue footprints.

Cheat codes

For those who are finding the game puzzles too difficult, or just want to collect as many items as possible such as unlocking characters and items, there are a number of cheat codes to use. For example, using "6MKHSG" will unlock "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon. Meanwhile, "3FE78R" will bring players the Jurassic Park Responder Vehicle.
