iPhone 6c rumors 2015: Budget iPhone and Apple Watch 2 to be unveiled at Apple event?

The long-rumored iPhone 6c (or iPhone Mini) could be making an appearance by the first quarter of 2016 if rumors linking to a planned media event by the Cupertino company hold true.

The Apple event is expected to be held in March, and according to 9to5Mac, the market may be finally seeing the 4-inch iPhone as well as the next Apple Watch variant.

The said event will be similar to the one held by Apple this year. At the time, the company unveiled the 12-inch MacBook with Retina display and the Apple Watch.

So this time, the Apple Watch could be debuting with a new dance partner in the much talked about budget iPhone which was earlier believed to possibly come out in mid-2016.

If so, this does confirm rumors that Apple is indeed secretly working on a smaller iPhone variant meant for the ones on a budget.

To recall, the iPhone 6c or iPhone Mini is rumored to come with an A9 chip, an 8-megapixel main camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing shooter. Instead of the traditional colored plastic casing that the iPhone 5c had, the said iPhone is believed to come in a metallic colored casing this time around.

Being a budget-phone, the alleged iPhone 6c/Mini is not expected to rack in record sales compared to the current iPhone 6s or 6s Plus. Apparently, they are made for the ones who want something cheaper and a successor to the seemingly forgotten iPhone 5c.

With regard to the Apple Watch 2, rumors have not exactly been as profound compared to the iPhone 6c. The said wearable will reportedly look almost the same as its predecessor and the only difference could be a longer-lasting battery and something that comes with improved outdoor visibility as bared by the Apple Insider.
