'Grey's Anatomy' season 13 episode 8 spoilers: show delves into 'Little' Stephanie, Webber's past

It looks like the next episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13, "The Room Where It Happens," will tell more about the past as it will about the present goings-on in the Seattle Grace Memorial Hospital.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 episode 8 will feature "little" Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) to be played by Kendall Joy Hall. It will also involve certain Gail Webber to be played by Monique Cash while Aniela Gumbs will be back as Zola, Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) daughter.

Gail Webber most certainly has a familial connection to Richard Webber (James Pickens, Jr.), perhaps a relative the show will just introduce. She could be the former Chief of Surgery's sister or mother.

As per the synopsis of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 episode 8, Meredith, Owen, Richard, and Stephanie will team up for "difficult surgery," allowing some "pivotal memories" to crawl back into their minds.

It looks like Stephanie will hark back to the time she was dealing with the sickle cell disease while the episode will also shed light on Richard's past, with Gail likely having faced the same danger the patient they are working on is dealing with in the present.

The operating room will certainly be filled with tension with the surgeons at odds on what to do with the patient. The "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 episode 8 shows Meredith putting the others in their place.

While operating on the patient as they race against time, they bicker on what to do with the patient. Meredith reminds Richard that she outranks him when he suggested they discuss the options.

Richard is facing the possibility of getting kicked out of his position as Director of the Residency Program with the arrival of Eliza Minnick (Marika Dominczyk), who Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Catherine (Debbie Allen) hired as the hospital's "educational consultant."

Minnick has expressed her interest to work in the hospital, but explicitly tells Bailey that she works alone, which means that in order to keep the "agent of change," she will have to remove his former teacher from his position, something that Richard will be oblivious about until probably "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 episode 8.

Bailey will once again be put in a tough position here, but with Minnick believed to be Arizona's (Jessica Capshaw) new love interest, it is likely that she will be around for a while.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 episode 8, "The Room Where It Happens," will air on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
