'Girl Meets World' season 3 spoilers, news: Show on three-week hiatus; season 4 not likely

Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter in "Girl Meets World" Disney Channel

"Girl Meets World" season 3 is, once again, on hiatus, following the airing of the Halloween special, which only aired after a two-week hiatus.

Fans will get to watch Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and the gang once again next month with episode 16 titled "Girl Meets Her Monster."

In this "Girl Meets World" season 3 installment, Riley and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) become obsessed with binge-watching and staying up late at night.

Needless to say, Topanga (Danielle Fishel) is not happy about this. The promo suggests that she bans Riley from watching, which leads her to think that should not live under the same roof with her family again.

A synopsis for "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 16 has not been released yet, although the promo should give viewers a good idea of what it has in store for them.

Fans are not happy that they will have to wait three weeks for the new episode, especially since they waited two weeks for "Girl Meets World of Terror 3."

Either way, fans are advised to enjoy every single one of these episodes as they could be the last few episodes of the
"Boy Meets World" spinoff that they will get to watch.

It is being reported that "Girl Meets World" season 4 is not happening. It started when Blanchard expressed worries about a renewal after season 3 wrapped filming back in July.

A few days ago, the writers of the show tweeted out the titles of the final episodes, the season 3 finale being titled "Girl Meets Goodbye."

Fans are worried that the episode will also be the final one for the whole show. The response of cast member August Maruro to the tweet did not help as well.

He said "not ready for Goodbye," which was taken to mean that "Girl Meets World" season 4 may not be happening.

At the moment, nothing is official about the show's fate. Fans have started an online petition for the show to be moved to Freeform in response to the possible cancellation by Disney Channel.

For now, viewers will have to wait for "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 16, "Girl Meets Her Monster," which will be airing on Friday, Nov. 4, at 7:30 p.m. ET on the Disney Channel.
