'Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location' map: secret rooms underground?

Developer Scott Cawthon has already confirmed a release date and map for "FNaF: Sister Location." Now, it is said that the new title will feature secret rooms located underground.

According to The Bitbag, some fans of the franchise have uncovered secret rooms in the upcoming "Five Nights at Freddy's" series game. Supposedly, the new secret areas are located underground, since the new locations are designed differently in the blueprints. The different colors apparently denote underground locations, which also indicate that "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" will have a basement.

Having the secret rooms underground may have significance on the game itself. Supposedly, the new game will introduce new features and improvements over that of previous "FNaF" games. With the elevator and underground locations, it is said that "Sister Location" may already have free-roam feature, a vast improvement over the directional gameplay for past releases.

Meanwhile, although Cawthon has already teased that "Sister Location" will come out on October 7, the release date itself may not be the final one. It is known that Cawthon has a habit of surprising fans with early releases, and previous games in the "Five Nights at Freddy's" franchise were also launched earlier than their expected debut. However, it may also swing the other way, with the final touches delaying the release of the upcoming title. The most recent release in the "FNaF" series, "Five Nights at Freddy's World," released earlier than its scheduled launch, though Cawthon pulled it out due to some tweaks and improvements, saying that the game looks rushed. The developer then released a second update for free.

Like "FNaF World," the new "Sister Location" game is not a direct sequel to the franchise, but rather a new take on the series.
