Cody Walker, the younger brother of the late actor Paul Walker, married his longtime girlfriend Felicia Knox on Saturday, Aug. 15. He took to social media on the day of his wedding to share the exciting news with his followers.

On Saturday morning, he tweeted, "Today is the day. I'm getting married people! #walkerdowntheaisle #luckyman."

Us Weekly reports that the couple celebrated their 7th year anniversary last week and they shared photos of the happy occasion on Instagram.

Cody and his other brother Caleb both helped their late brother finish his final scenes on "Furious 7" after Paul was killed in a car crash in November 2013. Both of them stood in for Paul and filmed his action scenes for the movie, which went on to become the fifth highest-grossing film of all time after earning more than $1.5 billion worldwide.

Cody previously told E! News that he and the rest of his family are keeping Paul's legacy alive. Speaking to E! last November, Cody said that Reach Out Worldwide, a charity close to Paul's heart, continues to flourish and help others even after the actor, who was the charity's primary contributor, has passed. Cody even took part in the charity's medical mission to the Philippines last year to provide medical aid to those devastated by Typhoon Haiyan.

Aside from his wedding to his longtime love, Cody has much to celebrate this year as his acting career is off to a great start. Last month, Variety reported that the 27-year-old actor has signed up to film a movie with Nicolas Cage called "USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage." Filming began in Alabama last month.

The World War II drama marks Cody's first major role, and the website reports that he will play a supporting role as one of the crewmen led by Cage, who will play Capt. Charles Butler McVay. A premiere date has yet to be announced for the film.
