Candace Cameron Bure Says Election Is 'Embarrassing,' Does Not Condone Trump's 'Locker Room Talk'

"Fuller House" star Candace Cameron Bure has long been fed up with this year's U.S. presidential election campaign, and she is particularly upset with Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Bure has accused Trump of making a mockery of the election. With the recent release of a video showing the business magnate making lewd comments on women, the actress is once again shaking her head.

"It was disheartening to hear the tapes," she told Fox News. "My husband [Valeri Bure] is a professional athlete, and I've been in locker rooms before. I can't say the talk was exactly like that but... I think anyone who says they've never heard inappropriate talk would be lying to themselves."

Bure, who is also a co-host of "The View," isn't sure who will lead America after the November election. Personally, Bure doesn't know how Trump or his opponent Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton would handle the job of the U.S. presidency.

"I honestly don't know. I don't know," she said. "The way this election is coming down between both candidates is embarrassing for our country. A lot of people just can't help but laugh and feel sorry, but it's a shame because we have such an incredible country... It's just hard to watch. Anyone's guess is as good as mine."

Meanwhile, Bure also discussed her own work. Because her commitments require her to fly from Los Angeles to New York and back again, Bure admits the demands of her work can sometimes get overwhelming. She is just thankful that she loves her job, so she always finds the right energy to complete all of her tasks.

"It's so much juggling. Sometimes I don't know how I do it because my schedule is pretty ridiculous. It's all time management. Do I get exhausted? Absolutely, I get worn out and my body can shut down at certain times," she said. "But I am so passionate about my family and about what I do that I want to be able to do all of those things."
