Word on the street is that Nintendo is releasing amiibo Wave 3 next month and a GameStop employee claimed that they will be launched on various dates all across February. A specific date, however, was not set until Reddit user KingOfRedLions came along. In one of the forums on the social networking service, the insider posted a photo of what looks like a memo that was allegedly distributed to GameStop employees. In the photo, detailed information regarding the release of the new batch of action figures was plastered.

The first Amiibo to come out will be Bowser, and Nintendo and "Mario" fanatics can get the antagonistic King Koopa as early as Feb. 6. The subsequent release will be a multiple one as Sheik, Shulk, Toon Link, Ike and King Dedede (hailing from different Nintendo universes) will all hit shelves on Feb. 13. In the week that will follow, specifically Feb. 20, fans should see Sonic and Mega Man out and ready for the taking.

In the same document, it was stated that the dates are not final as retailers may get different amiibo figurines on different dates. Also, it was emphasized that amiibo Wave 3 characters are no longer "street-dated," which make them immediately available for purchase. Design & Trend also noted that Nintendo will not send out amiibo Wave 3 all together but in pieces.

However, Nintendo Life cautioned fans to take these with a grain of salt as there is still no way to know if the particulars came straight from Nintendo. Nevertheless, if GameStop is one of the stores to visit to get the valuable items, Design & Trend claimed that "Xenoblade Chronicles" main antagonist Shulk will be an exclusive to the said retailer.

Nintendo Life also has reports on amiibo Wave 4 with "Super Smash Bros" warriors up for grabs. Nintendo UK offered pre-order for the bunch. However, Ness, Robin, Wario, Pac-Man, Charizard and Lucina are already sold out on the company's store. Supplies for Marth, Villager, Rosalina, Wii Fit Trainer and Pit also vanished quickly after they sold like hotcakes.
