'The Walking Dead' season 5 spoilers: More character deaths expected

The Walking Dead season 4 finale AMC

The fifth season of "The Walking Dead" may show more characters dying next season.

"The Walking Dead" producer, Jolly Dale, hinted that more characters will be killed off on season 5. She said that fans and readers of the comic book will have an idea of the direction of the fifth season.

"There's a lot of stuff I'm not allowed to talk about, but readers of the comic book will have a pretty good idea of which direction we're going in. The way I see it is, we've killed a lot of beloved characters on the show, but that just opens it up for new story lines to come along. So don't be too sad about all the people who died in Season 4 because there will be way more characters to come," Dale said. Moreover, she added that the cast will encounter more challenges next season.

It was previously reported that Glenn Rhee may say goodbye on the fifth season of "The Walking Dead". The Spoiling Dead Fans leaked that Steven Yeun was seen leaving the set around two in the morning and he was hugging the production members and shaking everyone's hands while taking his exit.

Meanwhile, the series may bring back one of the major characters in the show. Great snooping around done by the folks of The Spoiling Dead Fans as they spotted the same vehicle that once took off with Beth. This could mean that Beth will be returning to the series. "We posed earlier about the vehicle that took off with Beth being brought to location today. Sarah was able to catch a pic!" the website stated.

However, there were reports that the car can be Father Gabriel's, the one who rescued Beth. It seemed that fans will have to wait until the season 5 is aired to confirm which is which.

"The Walking Dead" season 5 will be back on air in October on AMC.
