Thai court clears election winning party

BANGKOK - Thailand's Supreme Court threw out a lawsuit on Friday accusing the People Power Party (PPP) of poll fraud, clearing the way for it to form a coalition government.

PPP, which supports ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, came first in the December 23 poll, but narrowly failed to secure an outright majority.
