Grenville Educational Media have just released a new series of children’s “Storybook” DVDs featuring short stories told by Nicky Clinch and Hannah Storey.

Each of the stories come in at under 10 minutes and give a positive message which could provide the basis for some good talking points within the family or in Sunday schools with children.

The stories are warm and at times quite touching. In the Moonlight story in the first series, a young Beethoven teaches a blind girl how to play one of his latest pieces.

Each story is also followed by the teller explaining how the story can relate to the listeners' lives and to the teachings of the Bible.

One of the most common themes in the stories is the very positive message that everyone has something to give and that we all have gifts and positive qualities, even if others, or even we ourselves, don’t see it.

The biblical messages are ideal for use within the family or Sunday school setting, where the stories can be used as a great springboard for children to discover their own gifts and other positive lessons.
