One of the biggest news at the Star Wars Celebration was the unveiling of the highly anticipated "Star Wars: Battlefront" Death Star downloadable content or DLC.

During the event, a heartstrings-tugging trailer for the long-awaited and much-talked-about expansion pack was shown and exciting details about it were revealed.

Set for release this fall, the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Death Star DLC will let users experience the epic battle between the Rebels and the Empire, who were huddled in the moon-sized armored space station.

One of the heroes coming with the DLC is none other than the ever-lovable Chewbacca, who fans have been wanting to see in action in "Star Wars: Battlefront."

With his addition to the fold, gamers will finally see Chewie team up with his trusty partner Han Solo. The other hero is Bossk, one of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy.

Explaining the gameplay and maps in the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Death Star DLC, Electronic Arts wrote on its blog that there will be brand-new maps and combat set both in and out of the space station.

Fans will definitely love to know that in the Death Star DLC, they will be able to experience for themselves the thrill of flying through a trench on the surface of the Death Star.

The Death Star DLC also gives players whole new vehicles to test drive, blasters to use on enemies and also Star Cards. EA promises to share more details about the expansion sometime soon.

As it always was with "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC packs, season pass holders will get the privilege of accessing the expansion pack two weeks before the rest.

Apart from the Death Star DLC, also coming to "Star Wars: Battlefront" is the Rogue One: Scarif DLC, which is based on the upcoming spinoff film "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."

As fans wait for all these goodies, they can get a load of the Skirmish mode, which allows gamers to play across the game's two most popular modes. A patch for it has been released to improve the gaming experience. Check all the details here.
