The Phoenix Suns are reportedly willing to give up their shooting guard Brandon Knight and their 13th overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft in order to acquire Philadelphia 76ers center Jahlil Okafor for the 71st season of NBA.

According to NBA trade speculations, a lot of teams are interested to sign up the 20-year-old Okafor such as the L.A. Lakers, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics.

As a rookie during the previous season, Okafor managed to come up with an amazing performance by averaging 17.5 points, 7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. But he failed to win the Rookie of the Year award because of injury problems.

If the Suns will be successful in getting Okafor, they could finally address the issue regarding the lack of a powerful big man in their lineup. They can also pair him with Devin Booker and develop them to become the team's key players for the years to come.

Meanwhile, the 76ers could also benefit from the trade with the Suns if the team from Philadelphia is looking forward to landing a top pick at the upcoming NBA draft.

According to SB Nation's Bright Side of the Sun blog, the 76ers vice president of player personnel Marc Eversley hinted to Philadelphia Inquirer that they are looking at Kentucky Wildcats shooting guard Jamal Murray after they saw his skills.

"He's certainly going to be one of those kids who's going to be in contention for the No. 1 pick. We like him a lot. He's going to bring a lot to wherever he goes in the NBA, certainly a talent," Eversley said.

The Suns and the 76ers could find a great deal between themselves if the rumored trade will push through in the coming days.
