While Motorola has yet to confirm the existence of the third-generation Moto X, a new benchmark result sheet leaked the new features of the alleged flagship phone.

The GFXBench posting that was spotted by Droid Life indicates that the device has the model number XT-1578. The smartphone is also reported to be referred to as the Moto Clark among the company's insiders, but will eventually be called the Moto X 2015 upon release.

News about the newest version of Moto X had been scarce until recently, when a new set of speculations came out regarding the product's alleged features.

According to reports, the Moto X 2015 will be equipped with a six-core Snapdragon 808, which is said to be similar to the LG G4's processor.

Also, the latest Moto X rumors posted by Know Your Mobile say that the device will come out with the same speaker design as the first Moto X version that came out in 2013. It will now come in two size variants: the first one will be 5.2 inches, while the other one will be 5.7 inches.

Both variants will also have AMOLED screens that feature 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, and will run using the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It will also come with a 16-megapixel primary camera at its rear and a 5-megapixel front camera for video calls and selfie photography.

There is no information yet regarding the internal memory capacity of the device, but the Moto X 2015 is said to be equipped with a 4 GB RAM. The smartphone might also feature the new USB Type-C connector, which is also used by other high-end phones in the market today.

Also, a report from Phone Arena mentions that the new Moto X 2015 will come with a wooden grain back panel that is made from a carbon fiber or a plastic material. Users will also have the option to customize their devices using 17 different colored case designs, including four wooden grains, five leather covers, as well as 10 accent colors.

The Moto X 2015 is expected to be released sometime between August and October this year.
