More strings, more heaven

It started a little while ago when word got out that The King’s Chamber Orchestra had hit on something remarkable. The buzz started to spread and pretty soon their debut album ‘String Heaven’ was soundtracking quiet times, devotionals, communions and more across the country.

Now they’re back. This time the album ‘Lost In Love’ builds on the inspiration and the atmosphere, adding a harp and twelve more songs to their repertoire.

Classics like ‘Knowing You’, ‘Faithful One’ and ‘As The Deer’ line up against contemporary favourites like ‘Worthy’, ‘Shout To The Lord’ and ‘How Sweet The Name’.

Built on a solid reputation as live performers, the Kings Chamber Orchestra – founded by Gerard Le Feuvre in 1985 – appears with anything from nine to sixty members, all of whom are Christians and professional musicians.

"There is no orchestra I would rather hear than The Kings Chamber Orchestra. I have never come across a group of muscians so exceptional and yet so relational. So technically skilled and yet so passionate and spiritual," said Rev Dr Mark Stibbe Vicar of St Andrews Chorleywood, bestselling author & international conference speaker.

He added, "I unreservedly recommend them."

The orchestra is currently on tour with four more dates to play. These are:

11 December: Oak Hall, Eastcote Community Centre, Eastcote
12 December: St Paul’s Church, Dorking
13 December: St Andrews Church, Chorleywood
14 December: Arun Community Church, Littlehampton
