Youth for Christ's Fort Rocky project has recently received a donation of £3,468 from Nottingham-based Christian bank Kingdom Bank Limited.

Fort Rocky events enable youth groups to provide fellowship and an opportunity to hear about Jesus.

Roy Crowne, National Director of Youth for Christ, said: "I am extremely grateful to Kingdom Bank for this generous gift which will help us reach more unchurched young people around Britain. It is an amazing investment in God's kingdom."

Phil Knox, Fort Rocky co-ordinator at Youth for Christ, said, "These events, some with more than 250 youth attending, have blown even our own expectations at YFC with an electric atmosphere in the meeting and more outdoor activity choice due to bigger numbers signing up."

The bank donated £70,000, some 20 per cent of its annual profit, to nearly 30 charities in December. Other recipients of the fund include TearFund, World Vision, Christians Against Poverty and the Assemblies of God.
