Kari Jobe says her heart for worship is not about the music or writing songs, but rather about connecting people to the heart of God.

It’s that beautiful humility that shines in her new self-titled album and effortlessly opens the soul to the presence of God. And if you’ve ever seen her perform onstage before, you’ll be amazed at just how deep that humility runs. Happily, every track on the album captures that same essence.

The pretty opening track, “I’m Singing”, sets the tone for the whole album - bright, sparkly, heavenly – while the gentle acoustics in tracks like “Everyone Needs a Little” and “Be Still” blend perfectly with Kari’s feathery soft vocals. The effect is an album that abounds in such clear adoration for the Lord.

The album highlight is a lovely rendition of Revelation Song that really brings out the best in Kari’s ability as a worship leader. Just close your eyes to this one and feel all your doubts and fears melt away.

In fact, that’s the unmistakable gift of Kari Jobe. Wherever you are in your walk of faith, her album is sure to bring out the worshipping heart in you and restore that precious sense of the tenderness of God.

This album is truly all about the Lord and worth every minute you give it.
