iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak release news: Pangu passes up 9.3.5 to work on new iOS 10?

Apple just recently released iOS 9.3.5 and are expected to release iOS 10 later this month when they official launch the iPhone 7. According to reports, Pangu may skip jailbreaking iOS 9.3.5 and will instead focus on jailbreaking iOS 10.

Pangu team had successfully released a jailbreak for iOS 9.3.4, allowing users to access the Cydia app store and install pirated or homebrew apps. However, this has been nullified with the sudden release of iOS 9.3.5 as it adds multiple security features that prevent the iOS 9.3.4 jailbreak from working.

iOS 9, the current iOS version prior to the upcoming iOS 10 Apple

It is widely speculated by fans that Apple had been waiting for a jailbreak for iOS 9.3.4 to release before they would launch iOS 9.3.5 to ensure that the jailbreak teams would have to start from the beginning again. This further implies that Apple is doing everything possible to prevent users from jailbreaking their devices.

Not only is jailbreaking a solution for people who want to install pirated apps but it can also lead to security concerns such as passwords or credit card information being stolen by hackers or viruses infecting a consumer's iPhone or iPad, with no immediate resolution available.

With iOS 10 arriving in just a few more weeks the reports point out that it is more feasible that Pangu team would skip working on iOS 9.3.5 and jump straight ahead to jailbreak iOS 10. However, fans speculate that Apple may already have iOS 10.1 or even further update patches that they will release once an iOS 10 jailbreak has launched.

Apple has not yet announced when the iPhone 7 and iOS 10 will officially be unveiled but they are expected to be featured this Sept. 7, with the device rolling out into retail outlets in the weeks to follow. iOS 10 may be made available to current Apple products such as the iPhone 6s and the iPad Pro, although no specific release window for the update has yet been announced.
