Dragon Ball SuperToei Animation

"Dragon Ball Super" has just ended the "Resurrection of F" saga and the upcoming episode 28 will start an entirely new storyline focusing on Beerus and Whis recruiting Goku and his allies for an inter-universe fighting tournament while also introducing a few new characters such as Champa.

Episode 28, titled "Champa! The God of Destruction of the Sixth Universe," will reveal that Beerus is not the only God of Destruction in existence and that each separate universe has their own version. Champa is revealed to be the God of Destruction in the sixth universe and like Beerus he too has his own assistant similar to Whis, named Zuno.

In the original manga series, Zuno is known as Vados and is revealed to be Whis's slightly more powerful sister. Champa is also revealed to be Beerus's twin brother and the two have had a long-lasting feud regarding which one of them is the more powerful God of Destruction.

Beerus and Champa will be entering the inter-universe tournament and each one will have to bring in their own team of fighters. Beerus, according to a report from Attack of the Fanboy, will be recruiting Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and Buu. It is unknown why the other powerful Z Fighters such as Gohan were not recruited into Beerus's team.

Champa's team has also been revealed, courtesy of the Facebook page of Gojiitaaf. The post reveals the members of Champa's team to be Hitto, Kyabe, Frost, Botamo and Magetta.

Frost is designed to look almost like an exact copy of Freeza, albeit with a slightly different color scheme, and Kyabe appears to be a Saiyan equivalent from the sixth universe. Magetta is revealed to be a robot of some sort while Botamo is more akin to a giant bear. Hitto has a very similar design and color scheme to Ginyu.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 28 airs this Jan. 24.
