It looks like "Dance Moms" season 6 is just an elusive wish. Abby Miller's insinuation of her exit from the show has intensified rumors about the Lifetime series meeting its end. Now, it seems that the show's biggest viewer magnet, Maddie Ziegler, has doubts about coming back to the show.
In an interview with MTV, the 12-yar-old dancer who appeared in Sia's music videos "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart" revealed that she may or may not return for season 6. The dance prodigy said that season 5 filming just wrapped up and she is thinking twice about signing up for a new season.
"I'm not sure what's going to happen for Season 6. I don't know if I'm going to do it or not, so it just depends," Ziegler told MTV.
Unfortunately, the youngster did not mention what conditions will pull her back to the reality series.
Ziegler also revealed to MTV that she wants to do acting on top of her dancing gigs. She will guest star in "Pretty Little Liars," which she said is her favorite TV show, making her time filming the episode "the best week of my life."
"I particularly want more acting. I've been auditioning a lot and I definitely want to act. I want to train with acting, and do movies," she said, adding that she "definitely want[s] to get more into those kinds of shows," pertaining to the ABC teen mystery thriller.
As for Miller, "Dance Moms" season 6 reportedly won't happen unless Lifetime settles its payment to her. And even after the network does so, the dance instructor still isn't sure about appearing on the show seeing that the other cast members "can do it without [her]."
For now, it remains to be seen whether or not "Dance Moms" season 6 will happen and if Miller and Ziegler will be in it if it does.
