"I saw dad in heaven, and he was with God!"

This was what a five-year-old boy breathlessly told his mother one morning after waking up from a dream.

The boy, Kieran, told his mother, Uyen "Wyn" Tran, about his vivid dream just days after his father, Ton, succumbed to cancer, according to God Reports.

The death of her husband on Feb. 13, 2014 devastated Wyn who thought that God would grant her prayers and those of others for her husband to overcome his medical condition, no matter how grave.

Because of her strong confidence that God would heal her husband, his death shook her faith. "I held on to that (his healing) with every ounce of belief. When he actually passed away I couldn't figure it out," she said.

Desperate for reassurance, she cried out to God, "Please give me a dream or vision."

God answered her request—through her son Kieran.

After hearing her son's recollection of his dream, she asked him what God looked like.

"He had long hair and looked like Thor and he wore all white," Kieran said.

He said his father was also dressed in white, with white shoes and a white hat, which Wyn thought could be the halo on his head.

"It was like it was dad's birthday and everybody was singing and clapping to him," Kieran continued.

The boy also told his mom that "Daddy was with God" and that he actually sat "with God and told him a joke and he laughed."

"I saw two holes in his wrists. One hole is here and one is here. He was bleeding, mommy, but he wasn't crying," Kieran told his mom.

Wyn was stunned by her son's description of God as he saw Him in his dream. She had not told her son about Jesus being crucified through his wrists. Moreover, she had always thought the nails that crucified Jesus went through the palms of his hands.

She later discovered through research that Jesus was crucified through his wrists – something her young son would have no way of knowing.

Kieran also told his mother about other things he saw in his dream—the rainbows, animals, "insects that don't bite," the light in heaven, and the sense of peace, which he remembered the most.

Wyn said she never taught her son about all those things, especially the concept of peace, which would be difficult for most children his age to grasp.

She then realised that what her son told her was "consistent with what Colton Burpo described in 'Heaven is for Real,'" a book her son had not read yet.

Wyn then showed her son several depictions of Jesus from the Internet and asked if any of them resembled Jesus. He shook his head each time an image came up. However, when he saw a painting of Jesus in "Heaven is for Real," done by the young artist  Akiane, Kieran exclaimed, "Yes, that's Jesus!"

Wyn said she has no doubt in her mind that what her son saw in his dream was Jesus.

"Heaven is for real and God is there!" she declared.
