Anne Hathaway baby due date, news: Actress confirms pregnancy via Instagram, shows off baby bump in red bikini

Anne Hathaway has been the subject of many baby rumors since she married Adam Shulman back in 2012 after dating for four years. But this time, the actress has confirmed her pregnancy herself via an Instagram post.

In the snap, Hathaway is pictured wearing a red bikini while posing elegantly along the shoreline of a beach. The bikini showed off her fit physique but she's also noticeably sporting a baby bump.

News of her current pregnancy started circulating online in November 2015 when photos of her were made public showing the 33-year-old actress looking bigger around her belly. Hathaway did not comment on questions regarding the news and reportedly asked reporters to refrain from asking maternity-related questions while in London for the premiere of her movie, "The Intern."

But now, the Academy Award winner has decided to go public with the news and share it in the sassiest way possible. Hathaway apparently spotted paparazzi trying to photograph her while at the beach, so instead of getting mad, she decided to one up them.

"Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafriends!" the caption read. "So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :) Wishing you love, light and blessings for the year ahead! Annie"

The "Les Misérables" star did not reveal, however, the baby's sex nor her due date. But back in November, a source told E! News that the actress was in her second trimester at the time.

Hathaway has previously expressed her enthusiasm about becoming a mother and it looks like her wish has finally come true.
