The list of Xbox 360 games that can be played on the Xbox One continue to grow as Xbox's Larry Hryb, who is also known as Major Nelson, announces via Twitter three more games have been added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility feature.

"Killer is Dead" is one of the three games added to the list. An action game in the same vein as "Devil May Cry," it was highly received in Japan, where it got a score of 35 out of 40 in Famitsu magazine. The game was less well received in the West, with many critics and fans showing disfavor for its disjointed plot and mechanics.

The second game added is "Shred Nebula," which is largely inspired by classic top-down space shooters such as "Asteroid" and "SubSpace." The game features 20 different ships, 40 different stages, a single-player campaign with 20 different levels, and both online and offline multiplayer.

Id Software's "Rage" is the third official game being added. The game marked Id Software's big comeback to the gaming industry and was a moderate success. It focused on fast-paced FPS gameplay and third-person driving across a desert wasteland, set in a post-apocalyptic world. It received positive reviews upon release.

As noted by Gamespot, "Rage" is not available on the digital market and can only be played on the Xbox One with the original Xbox 360 disc inserted. It is unknown at this point if the game is going to see a digital re-release soon for it to be available via download on the Xbox Live store.

The other two titles are available online. "Shred Nebula" can be purchased for $5 and is 85.39 MB in size. "Killer is Dead" is available both as a physical disc and online in the digital store for "$20 and is approximately 4.5 GB in size.

It is unknown if these will be the last games to be added for 2016, although fans speculate that there will be at least six more titles added to Xbox One Backward Compatibility, with three launching in November and another three in December.
