The road to WrestleMania continues as the World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) next big pay-per-view event, "Elimination Chamber," is set to take place on Sun., Feb. 25, 2018, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The highlight of the event is the six-man elimination match to which the event got its name. In this match, six superstars will be competing for the chance to face the current champion of the Raw roster at WrestleMania 34.

The qualifying matches for the upcoming match have begun last week, in which three superstars have earned their rightful spot in the competition. Elias defeated "Woken" Matt Hardy to qualify for the event, while Braun Strowman and John Cena defeated Kane and Finn Balor, respectively.

Three more qualifying matches are set to take place in the coming weeks, with Shield member Roman Reigns battling it out with Bray Wyatt to claim the fourth spot in the chamber. With Wyatt's current feud with Hardy, who failed to qualify due to the former's interference, it is speculated that Reigns will pick up the victory so that Wyatt can resume his current storyline with Hardy.

Meanwhile, the Women's division will continue to make history as they did in the Royal Rumble pay per view when they competed in the first-ever 30-woman over-the-top rope match. This time, six female WWE superstars will compete for the Raw women's championship currently held by Alexa Bliss.

So far, Bliss is the only confirmed competitor in the event, and the other five contestants will be determined soon. There are rumors floating around that Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Bayley, Mickie James and Sonya Deville are considered to compete with Bliss for the title. Asuka, being the Royal Rumble winner, automatically gets a title shot at WrestleMania so it is unlikely that she will be included in the women's Elimination Chamber match.
