"Wolverine 3" is notable for being the last full-length feature film that will star Hugh Jackman as Logan, also known as Wolverine, one of the X-Men. While the film has been in production for some time, very little was known about it until now, as director James Mangold shares some new details about the film including its title.

Posting on Twitter, Mangold confirmed that the film is going to be titled "Logan" instead of "Wolverine 3" or "X-Men: Wolverine 3." The director's post also revealed a teaser poster which does not showcase Wolverine's face and instead shows Wolverine's hand, claws out, holding onto a young child's hand.

The poster also states that the film is launching in theaters in March 2017.

Mangold also posted an image of the film's script, and as stated by IGN the film appears to be Rated-R, given how the dialogue in the script does not hold back with its explicit language. It is also noted that the movie will not shy away from depicting character deaths on-screen, although some might be toned down for screenings.

SlashFilm also notes that this is not just the last time Jackman plays Wolverine, but it will also be the last time Patrick Stewart plays Professor Charles Xavier, a role also played by James McAvoy.

The report further states that the child is likely Logan's clone or child, the female mutant known as X-23. This plot arc was teased at the end of "X-Men: Apocalypse" when employees of the Essex Corporation are seen walking into the Weapon X facility and taking blood samples of Weapon X or Wolverine.

If the child is indeed X-23 then the main villain of the film may be Mister Sinister whose real name is Nathaniel Essex. He was a mutant in the 19th century who is obsessed with evolution and who later made a pact with Apocalypse, played by Oscar Isaac in the films, to become immortal and further advance his experiments.

"Logan" opens in theaters on March 3, 2017.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
