'The Walking Dead' season 7 episode 4 spoilers: Negan is the new boss of Alexandria

A still from "The Walking Dead" featuring the character Negan AMC

"The Walking Dead" season 7 has focused on the amount of control that Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) holds over the people of The Kingdom, the Hilltop Colony and Rick's own group at Alexandria. Episode 4, titled "Service," is going to continue this trend as Negan pays a visit to Alexandria to collect supplies.

The official synopsis, as per TV Guide, states that the residents of Alexandria try to hold it together after the sudden death of both Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn (Steven Yeun), but things fall apart when Negan suddenly comes in to pay them a visit. When he does, Rick immediately lets them know that Negan is now the person in charge.

The official trailer shows Rick telling his group that he's not in charge anymore, indicating that the Alexandria residents should just give in to Negan's demands. Back in season 6, the Hilltop Colony revealed they had given all their weapons to the Saviors, and in season 7 episode 2, it was revealed the Kingdom gave them food.

However, not everyone appears to be ready to accept defeat. The trailer showcases Michonne (Danai Gurira) holding a sniper rifle, firing at someone or something. It is widely speculated that she is shooting at Saviors, and because of this, Negan may be gathering his men to kill yet another of Rick's allies.

This is hinted further in the trailer as Rick is shown with a shocked face while Negan laughs directly at him. Fans speculate that this means Michonne may have been killed off. Other possible candidates include Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan).

A report from The Sun also reveals that the episode is going to be much longer than usual. The episode is set to be 90 minutes long instead of the usual 60 minutes, and this further implies that it will have a few impactful moments. Because of this, it is possible that Negan will indeed be killing someone else.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 episode 4 is scheduled to air on Nov. 13.
