Nintendo has released three brand new trailers for "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" that reveal more details about the game's weather effects, exploration, and combat. Each trailer hints at more possibilities that were not possible or seen in any of the previous "Legend of Zelda" games.

The first trailer centers on exploration. This video reveals the impressive draw distance and starts with Link looking at some ruins off the distance. The video then shifts to show Link running until he eventually gets there. Other exploration details include Link being able to dive, swim, climb, ski down a hill, and use a glider that slows his descent from great heights.

In the combat trailer, it is shown that Link can slow time down to execute a melee combo or to fire off multiple arrows, instantly taking down several enemies in little time. Link is also shown to light his weapons on fire, and he can even stick bombs to some enemies. He is also shown firing an explosive arrow.

The environment is also shown to have combat functions. Link is seen rolling a boulder onto several enemies, and he is also shown sneaking behind a large rock formation to fire arrows at an enemy before they can spot him. Lightning striking the ground is also shown during combat, and it may be possible for it to deal severe damage to Link or his foes.

The third trailer focuses on the weather effects, and Link is not shown. Instead, a motionless camera shot of a landscape focusing on the passing of different weather conditions was shown. The video starts with a clear and sunny sky, but clouds gradually fill the sky, darken the land, and soon, rain and lightning start appearing.

There are also hints of the landscape getting covered in fog and light rain. Sunlight peeking through the clouds is also emphasized in portions of the third trailer.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will launch on the Wii-U and Nintendo Switch in 2017.
