'The Incredibles 2' release date set for 2019, plot reportedly focuses on Jack-Jack against Dash

The Incredibles Disney/Pixar

"Finding Dory" has attained several crucial achievements for Pixar and Disney and it appears that the two studios will continue releasing high-end animated films year in and year out. With that in mind, a report from Entertainment Weekly has listed the upcoming films that will be released within the next few years, which include "The Incredibles 2."

As stated in the report, very little is known about the film except for the fact that it is being made by Brad Bird, the same director and writer of the original. Bird has since left his background of animated films to direct "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" and "Tomorrowland" and this will be his return to the animated studios.

The report also points out that the film will be bringing back Samuel  L. Jackson as the superhero Frozone. Frozone played a small but crucial role in the original film as he was one of the closest friends to the Parrs. It is likely that Frozone will be playing the same role in the sequel.

In a report from Crossmap, it is speculated that the film's plot will focus on an older Jack-Jack as he comes to terms with his powers. In the first film it was later revealed that Jack-Jack had the ability to transform and utilize numerous abilities such as spitting out fireballs.

However, the report continues to state that Dash, Jack-Jack's elder brother, may end up fighting Jack-Jack when one or the other decides to betray their family and go solo. It is even speculated by fans that Jack-Jack may join one of the Parr family's older villains such as Syndrome because of the way his parents treat him.

Some fans speculate that none of this may happen given how "Finding Dory" is set just 1 year after the events of "Finding Nemo" despite the two films being more than a decade apart.

"The Incredibles 2" will be released on June 21, 2019.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
