In the next episode of "The Flash," Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash (Grant Gustin) inspires Ralph a.k.a Elongated Man (Hartley Sawyer) to rise up and fight crime in the city.

The trailer and promotional photos for the upcoming installment, which is titled "The Elongated Knight Rises," were just released recently, and they show Central City getting terrorized by a familiar villain by the name of Axel Walker a.k.a. The Trickster (Devon Graye). Since Allen is now in prison, Ralph has to rise up and fill in the former's position to stop the demented criminal.

However, Ralph does not think that he has what it takes to become a hero, so he visits Allen to get some much-needed advice. At the prison, he tells Allen that he is not fearless like the scarlet speedster.

"Having the ability to help someone, it's a way of life. So rise up, rise above that fear," Allen tells the doubtful Ralph.

In the meantime, Trickster kidnaps some civilians and makes them contestants in a strange game show, which is streamed live on television. They are all gagged and tied up as the villain taunts and threatens their lives at the spin of a color wheel. Caitlyn Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) realize that they need Elongated Man to fill Flash's shoes. It remains to be seen if Ralph will be able to rise to the occasion and save the day.

In the last episode, Allen was sentenced to prison when the jury declared him guilty of killing Clifford DeVoe a.k.a. The Thinker (Neil Sandilands). Allen was framed by DeVoe who had transferred his mind into another metahuman. In effect, he was still alive and had become more dangerous than ever.

"The Flash" season 4 episode 11 will hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
