Samsung Galaxy S6: Purchase on T-Mobile for free Netflix

T-Mobile

T-Mobile is now offering a one year free subscription to Netflix with a Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge purchase. The deal is part of T-Mobile's launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge lineup.

According to John Legere, CEO of T-Mobile, "Samsung's built insane power into two beautiful bodies − you have to hold these phones in your hands and experience them for yourself.

"And now that we've knocked down every barrier the other guys use to lock you in, there's no reason to wait to come over to the Un-carrier to grab Samsung's Next Big Things."

The new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in 32 GB variant will be available for a zero-down pay plan and $28.33 per month for the S6 and $32.49 per month for the Edge. The FRPs for the S6 and S6 Edge are $679.92 and $779.76, respectively.

Potential customers who want to check out the new S6 series can go to T-Mobile stores starting March 27 when the devices will start to become available. For those who would like to place pre-orders, the units are also available on T-Mobile's website. The network carrier will begin shipping the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge on April 10, and will also start selling the new Samsung Qi Wireless charging pad for $49.99.

Aside from the free Netflix subscription, the new Samsung Galaxy phones would also be a part of T-Mobile's Carrier Freedom plans, wherein customers will not pay for anything when they switch carriers and avail of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge offer. The Carrier Freedom plan allows carrier switchers to replace their old plans with a T-Mobile one without worrying about the rest of the contract price, since T-Mobile will settle unpaid plan devices up to $650 and will also pay for early termination fees.

The Netflix subscription offer will run from March 27 to April 9.
