"Descendants of the Sun" has received critical acclaim as one of the best South Korean dramas in recent years, and fans have speculated that the two leads, Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo, are dating in real life. The couple has even won the Best Couple Award at the APAN Star Awards, but their entertainment labels continue to deny that they are together.

All K-Pop reports that the rumors of the two stars secretly getting married overseas or that Song Hye-kyo is pregnant are not true. As a matter of fact, the report points out that the two stars are just good friends, and this is why their chemistry on the show shines.

"It's definitely not true," explained their labels. "It's ridiculous. We're just laughing about it," they went on to say.

Song Joong-ki also explained in an interview with Soompi that his partner was the best he had ever worked with, but she was just a friend and not a girlfriend. "She hasn't only sent a coffee truck, she also sent a snack truck too. She is the best partner," he said.

Mobile N Apps also points out that when they won the award, only Song Joong-ki was present to receive it. This sparked rumors that Song Hye-kyo is indeed in hiding because she is pregnant and that they are getting married somewhere out of the country.

Song Joong-ki debunked this rumor when he explained that the actress was not able to attend because of her filming schedule for a different project taking place overseas.

Despite their strong chemistry, they are not returning for the sequel that is currently being developed. Season 2 of "Descendants of the Sun" will focus on Jin Goo and Kim Ji-won instead, given that both Song Hye-kyo and Song Joong-ki cannot reprise their roles due to scheduling conflicts.

No official premiere date has been announced for "Descendants of the Sun" season 2 or for upcoming projects involving Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
