"Shameless" season 7 had an early premiere online, but viewers watching on Showtime have just been able to watch the first episode. Episode 2, "Swipe, [explicit], Leave," airs the following week, and it will see Frank Gallagher (William H. Macy) attempt to rebuild his life and abandon his kids.

The promo trailer for the episode showcases Frank barricading himself on the top floor, going as far as building a wall to prevent his kids from going up and interrupting him. This is not going to last long, however, as the latter end of the trailer shows Fiona (Emmy Rossum) taking a sledgehammer to break the wall down.

Fiona, as stated by the synopsis from Cartermatt, will be struggling to run Patsy's Pies all on her own. This will conflict with her struggles at home, particularly with Frank trying to separate himself from the rest of the Gallaghers. Frank isn't exactly alone, however, as the synopsis reveals that he will be taking Liam up with him.

The trailer also shows Lip (Jeremy Ian White) asking Ian (Cameron Monaghan) if he had really given a heterosexual relationship a try. It then cuts to a clip of Ian having sex with a woman, although it is uncertain how well or how badly Ian is going to react to the experiment.

Ian's sexuality has been one of the key plot points for the character ever since season 1, and it is possible that this will further reinforce his decision to be gay, or he may discover that he does like girls after all.

Debbie (Emma Kenney) is shown going around trying to uphold her stroller business, but it is indicated she will get in trouble for trying to scam someone. Carl (Ethan Cutkosky), on the other hand, is stated to get forced into abstinence.

"Shameless" season 7 episode 2 is scheduled to air on Showtime this Oct. 9.
