"Sense8" season 2 is currently in the middle of production, and while very little is known about the show's plot and the fate of the characters, it is now hinted that actress Bae Doona, who plays Sun Bak, may be killed off or simply be written out of the show as she may be returning to the Korean drama scene.

According to a report from Soompi, the actress may be ending her time on "Sense8" as she may take a lead role in the upcoming South Korean drama series, "The Voice." The show is not related by any means to the singing competition series, and instead, it is centered on a 112 call center responder.

The series focuses on a responder who uses the information from calls to chase down a serial killer. It should also be noted that this will be her first main K-drama series since her role in the 2010 show, "Gloria." It is also important to note that Bae Doona has yet to confirm if she is taking up the offer to play the lead character or if she will decline to prioritize her time on "Sense8."

It was widely speculated that the show had been discreetly canceled, but this was proven to be false when images of the series in production have been posted on Instagram. However, Netflix has yet to announce when season 2 would premiere.

A report from Assignment X, which also focused on an interview with actress Jamie Clayton who plays Nomi Marks, says that the show is primed to premiere this December, although a more specific date has not been stated.

Given that Netflix tends to launch their shows on a Friday, it is now widely speculated that "Sense8" season 2 will premiere on Dec. 9 or Dec. 16.

Netflix has yet to comment on the supposed December premiere. It may also be possible that the show's release will be moved to January next year.
