Houston Texans vs Denver Broncos live stream (ESPN): Watch NFL Monday Night Football 2016 online

NFL Monday Night Football takes place tonight with a big game between the Houston Texans and the Denver Broncos. The Broncos will be hosting this one at Sports Authority Field in Colorado, and the game has a scheduled start time of 8.30 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through live stream via the link below.

This is an important game for the Broncos, as they currently sit in third place in the AFC West following the weekend's results. They have a record of 4-2, which is tied with the Kansas City Chiefs, but the Oakland Raiders are out front with a 5-2 record.

If Denver can claim the win today they would move up alongside the Raiders in what is becoming a hugely competitive AFC West division.

However, the Houston Texans will not be an easy prospect for the Broncos to take on today. The Texans are sitting at the top of the AFC South with a 4-2 record, and even though they come into today's game with the same record as the Broncos, the Texans have a lot less pressure on them as all the other teams in the AFC South have negative records, which gives them a lot of breathing room.

Brock Osweiler has gone 134 of 227 attempts this season so far for 1,402 yards and 8 touchdowns. Opposite him, Trevor Siemian has thrown 98 of 151 for 1,054 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Both teams have a similar total yardage average so far this season, with the Texans gaining 327.7 total yards a game, compared to the Broncos' 323.3 yards per game.

This could be a close one, but with the Broncos being at home they should have the edge here tonight.

Earlier in Week 7, NFL Thursday Night Football saw the Green Bay Packers claim what in the end was an easy win over the Chicago Bears.

Even though the 26-10 scoreline would indicate that the Packers had it all their own way, that was not the case, and through the opening three quarters just field goal separated the teams.

However, when things came to the crunch, the hapless Bears fell down again and disappointed. With just three points between the teams heading into the fourth quarter, Chicago fans may have been hoping their team could sneak the win at the end. But 13 unanswered points for the Packers saw Green Bay run out victors to move to 4-2.

That result condemned the Bears to their sixth defeat of the season so far as they dropped down further to 1-6, and this is already turning into a long and painful season for them.

Aaron Rodgers threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns. His 39 of 56 set a franchise record for completions in a single game.

The Bears meanwhile lost quarterback Brian Hoyer to a broken left arm in the second quarter, and so he joins the injured list with Jay Cutler, leaving Chicago to turn to third stringer Matt Barkley, who ended 6 of 15 for 81 yards and two interceptions.

Bears coach John Fox said, "Well, when you lose your starting quarterback it can be disruptive. It's not an excuse, it's just a reality,"
