Will Samsung finally reveal the successor to its Galaxy Tab S tablet device to topple the iPad Air 2?

Rumors have begun to circulate about the alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. Recently, a leaked photo was posted on Twitter by @OnLeaks, showing a slick, thinner metallic device.

Based on reports, the next-generation Galaxy Tab device can directly compete with Apple Inc.'s latest tablet because of its ultra-slim design. Rumors claim that the Galaxy Tab S2 will only be 5.4 millimeters thick, which is half a millimeter thinner than the iPad Air 2. It is also mentioned that the device's 8-inch model will weigh 260 grams while the bigger 9.7-inch model will weigh 407 grams.

Meanwhile, Sam Mobile revealed that the soon-to-be released Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will come with a 4:3 aspect ratio display, and its screen will allegedly feature a Super AMOLED display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution.

The rumored tablet computer from the South Korean consumer and electronics manufacturer will be equipped with an Exynos 5433 processor, 3 GB of RAM, and built-in 16 GB memory storage with room for expansion using its microSD slot.

Also, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will run using the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, and it will have an 8-megapixel main camera located at the back, as well as a 2-megapixel secondary camera in front that could be used for video calling and taking selfie shots.

According to another Sam Mobile report, a changelog confirms the development of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 product. The prolific Samsung device tipster also says that the next Galaxy Tab device will come out in June, but the month is almost over and the South Korean tech firm has yet to make an announcement about the release date of the product.
