Russell Wilson and Ciara engaged? Ciara sets the record straight about rumors

For celebrities who are in a serious relationship with their partners, engagement rumors are inevitable. For singer Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, the rumors started when the latter referred to the former as "The One."

On Monday, Wilson posted a photo of Ciara looking into his eyes with the caption "The One," and it immediately sparked rumors that the two are already engaged. However, the 30-year-old "Body Party" singer was quick to dismiss the rumors.

At Coach's New York Fashion Week, the singer confirmed to E! News that she and Wilson are not engaged by showing off her ringless finger. Ciara may have set the record straight about all the engagement rumors for now, but a wedding may not be far off for the famous couple.

E! News reported last year that a source told them exclusively that Ciara and Wilson would one day go down that path since they had been talking about their future together.

Ciara and Wilson are just among the many celebrity couples who practice abstinence. Wilson, who is a devout Christian, confirmed this in July last year with San Diego Rock Church's Pastor Miles McPherson, People reported.

Things are looking great between the sweethearts, but Ciara recently admitted that it's a challenge to abstain from sex knowing she's with someone she considers as the "most beautiful person."

"I'm not gonna lie. I'm human, so it is not easy, especially when I look at him and I think he is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen — that I've ever laid my eyes on, to be honest," Ciara confessed during an interview with Cosmopolitan.

However, she has a remedy whenever she deals with temptation. According to Ciara, she says to herself, "Look the other way! Look the other way!"

Wilson also admits it's not easy for him. "I ain't gonna lie — I need ya'll to pray for us. Because I know you have seen her on the screen now. If there's a 10, she's a 15," he said in the interview with McPherson. "Pray for me, keep my mind clear, keep my heart clear."
