A number of details about the upcoming survival-horror game "Resident Evil VII: Biohazard" have leaked online, some of them discussing the downloadable content (DLC) that will be released for the game.

As per a Swedish retail shop, Disc Shop, there will be four preorder DLC packs for the game and each one contains several different consumables.

According to a report from Gamespot, there are no confirmations that the DLC packs are real. It is also uncertain if these DLC packs will be offered across the globe or if they will be split between different retailers and online venues, meaning gamers will get a different preorder DLC, depending on where or how they buy the game.

The four DLC packs are titled "Recovery Set," "Burner Set," "Handgun Set," and "Chem Fluid Set." Each set also comes with a coin, presumed to be some form of in-game currency. The "Burner Set" also indicates that players will gain the ability to burn zombies instead of relying on headshots to take them down.

In other news, the game's story, weapons, and rating have also been leaked on the ESRB website.

A report from Polygon reveals that story details and more have been posted on the ESRB website, but Capcom has since asked the site to take the details down. The details will be put back up as the game's release approaches. Polygon states that the ESRB has responded and confirmed that the details initially posted are indeed accurate.

In the initial post, it was revealed that the game is rated "M for Mature" and that the main character of the game is named Ethan, a man who will be entering a "derelict mansion" as he looks for his wife.

The post also confirms that "Resident Evil VII" will allow players to,not only use pistols and shotguns, but also chainsaws, flamethrowers, and explosives. This may make the game the most violent and goriest entry in the series. Back in "Resident Evil 4" chainsaws were featured but were only used by the enemies.

"Resident Evil VII: Biohazard" is scheduled to be released on Jan. 24 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
