Real Madrid vs Roma live stream: Watch Champions League 2016 online

Real Madrid will play Roma on Tuesday night in the second leg of the Champions League Last 16 match up. Today's game takes place from the Bernabeu in Madrid, and it would take a huge upset for Real not to find their way through to the quarter finals at the end of the game. Kick off has a start time of 7.45 p.m. GMT (2.45 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream via the link below.

Real come into today's game with a comfortable 2-0 lead from the first leg in Italy, and after their overwhelming 7-1 victory over Celta Vigo in the Spanish La Liga at the weekend, the Spanish giants seem in amazing form and will be massive favorites to win through today.

A lot of the talk ahead of the game has centered around star player Cristiano Ronaldo and his future at the club.

He has surprisingly been the target of the Real Madrid fans after another one of Ronaldo's outbursts recently when he complained at the lack of quality of his teammates following his team's 0-1 loss to Atletico Madrid at the end of February.

Ronaldo at that time said that if more of his players were as good as him then they would likely be winning a lot more. Comments like that have not gone down well with fans, with some calling for him to be sold.

However, coach Zinedine Zidane has spoken out of any thoughts of selling his best player, and has said that he is "not in favor" or allowing Ronaldo to leave the team.

"I am the coach and I want him," Zidane said ahead of their big Champions League game.

Indeed, every football fan around the globe can relate to Zidane's position; Ronaldo has been Real's best player since he arrived from Manchester United, and is one of only a few players on the planet who is able to compete with Barcelona's Lionel Messi in terms of skill and contribution to his team.

Ronaldo showed just how important he is to the Real team at the weekend, when he scored four of the seven goals the team scored against Celta Vigo. That took his goal tally for the season to 27, putting him ahead of Barcelona's Luis Suarez as the top goalscorer this season in La Liga to date.

Real fans will be hoping one of their other star players can make his Champions League return today. Welshman Gareth Bale, who has had his own issues with Real fans since arriving from Spurs, has been out since suffering a calf injury on January 17. The 26 year-old made his comeback at the weekend, scoring one of the seven goals.

Meanwhile, Roma are coming into today's game looking to believe that they can do "the impossible" and overturn the two goal deficit in Madrid.

Roma winger Diego Perotti has said, "We've come here to pull off the impossible. We know we have to score twice and it won't be easy, but anything is possible."
