The latest season 4 update for Tom Clancy's "Rainbow Six Siege" was teased last weekend, revealing the details about the three new operators set to arrive via "Operation White Noise." Ubisoft recently released a full trailer for the new playable characters, among them is the highly-skilled ninja and technician, Vigil.

As reported by PCGamesN, the latest "Rainbow Six Siege" season 4 update will feature three additional operators, with two of them coming from Republic of Korea's 707th Special Mission Battalion. This time around, the players are introduced to Vigil, also known as Chul Kyung Hwa. Based on his character description, Vigil had a very challenging childhood, which led him to the military and caught the attention of Rainbow Six.

Like Vigil, Dokkaebi also came from the 707th Special Mission Battalion, although the former's traits are quite different. Dokkaebi is known as a hacker, while Vigil is described specifically as a "high-tech ninja." To note, the first of the three new operators revealed last week was Zofia.

It appears that Vigil actually originated from North Korea, seeking refuge to a distant land with no means of survival. Both of his parents died in the process, but Vigil was able to survive and eventually qualified for UDT/SEALS, became a member of the 707th Battalion, then lastly, selected as a new member of Rainbow Six group.

According to PC Gamer, Vigil will serve as a defender in the Rainbow Six team, using a K1A SMG and BOSG 12.2 shotgun as his primary weapons. He also has the C75 and SMG-12 secondary weapons in case of emergency. What is interesting in his skills is to trap the enemies down with a "new trick." The trailer did not reveal what exactly this trick is, but there are speculations that the new operator has a stealth mode that make him invisible in front of the opponents.

In case this happens, Vigil will be the first of his kind in "Rainbow Six Siege" with the ability to move through the game undetected. It appears that Ubisoft wants a stealth character to be a part of the team. "We wanted operators that are able to play with intel and counter-intel, using an aspect of our game that is not that explored," game designer Guillaume Essouffi said.
