A new Battle Competition for the latest "Pokémon" titles will take place.

For "Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire" players, registration is now open for the next challenge in the "Pokémon ORAS" titles. Registration for the competition is now open for interested players. The challenge, dubbed Little Cup, will be a single battle competition.

In the Little Cup, players need to choose and challenge competitor trainers only with Pokémon that remain unevolved at their first levels like Charmander, Magby, Noibat, Pichu, and others. Second- and third-level Pokémon like Charmeleon, Gyarados, Pinsir, Kangaskhan and others are excluded.

To keep the challenge fair to all players, all chosen Pokémon will be lowered to Level 5 for the duration of the competition. Players are also forbidden to use high-level moves like Sonic Boom and Dragon Rage. Additionally, registered participants are also not allowed to use the Eviolite item.

Registration for the competition is now open and will last until May 21. Meanwhile, the Battle Competition between registered trainers will start on May 22 and will end on May 24. All registered participants in the Little Cup will be given 1,000 PokéMiles.

In other news, fans are wondering if "Pokémon ORAS" will have a direct sequel or if there's an entirely new title that will come out this year. Speculations are rife that Nintendo will be making an announcement about a new "Pokémon" game at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo in June. The company has already announced that it will be participating in this year's E3 event, and has listed vague descriptions on what titles they will be focusing on for the conference.

In addition, Nintendo has pronounced that their participation in the annual E3 event will solely focus on platform-based games, and will not be disclosing details on any future expansions such as the rumored NX gaming system and developing mobile games.
