Players of "Pokémon GO" know that the fastest and easiest way to evolve their Eevee is to use the Rename method. But players can also use another way to evolve Eevee into a different kind of Pokémon like Espeon and Umbreon using another trick.

According to reports, players can use their accumulated candies to start the Eevee evolution. With as much as 25 candies, players can simply use Eevee as their main Pokémon buddy and walk around for as long as 10 kilometers to gather around two candies. This means that they have to exert more efforts to use the other Eevee evolution technique compared to the simple Renaming procedure.

However, "Pokémon GO" players need to make sure that Eevee remains their chosen buddy Pokémon in order to make the second technique work.

Pokémon Eevee can evolve into different forms of Pokémon after the game's Gen 2 update was released in February. According to a report that was posted on Pokémon GO Pocket, players can rename their Eevee to Pyro to evolve it into Flareon, Sakura to evolve it into Espeon, Tamao to evolve it into Umbreon, Sparky to Jolteon, or Rainer to evolve it to Vaporeon.

Meanwhile, new report claims that a brand-new social gaming experience will be introduced in "Pokémon GO" this spring after the game reached 65 million monthly players.

"We continue to be inspired by the passion of the 65+ million people from around the world playing 'Pokémon GO' each month," Niantic states in a press release on its website. "We're still at the beginning of the journey and there's a lot more to come. With spring arriving in the northern hemisphere, players can look forward to all new cooperative social gameplay experiences in Pokémon GO that will give Trainers new and exciting reasons to get back into the sunshine."

Details are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
