The Pokémon Bank has transformed the way players store and manage their Pokémon across different game versions, able to import characters to and from their "Pokémon X," "Pokémon Y," "Pokémon Omega Ruby," and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" games.
Now, as a reward, Pokémon Bank users can receive three very sought-after Pokémon for free. The free Pokémon, special versions from the Johto region, are Feraligatr, Meganium, and Typhlosion. They are the final evolutions of the first partner Pokémon from the HeartGold and SoulSilver versions. Each one is already at Level 50, and they have hidden abilities that are not accessible through normal gameplay.
Feraligatr has Sheer Force as its hidden ability. It eliminates additional effects of the Pokémon's attack, but adds 30 percent direct damage instead. Its additional moves are Ice Punch, Crunch, and Waterfall.
Meganium's Leaf Guard hidden ability protects it from status condition when the sunlight ranges from harsh to extremely harsh. It also has the Sunny Day move, and a combination attack with the hidden ability gives out substantial damage.
Typhlosion's hidden ability is the Flash Fire, powering up Fire-type moves by 50 percent and shields it from taking damage against Fire-type attacks. It also has three other Fire-type moves.
To receive the three free Pokémon, trainers and players need to use the Pokémon Link option in their copy of Pokémon games after accessing the Pokémon Bank. Each Bank account can only receive the three Pokemon once. Players only have until Nov. 30 to get them.
The Pokémon Bank was launched last year as an option for trainers to play simultaneously on all recent "Pokémon" game titles and make transfer of Pokémon from game to game possible. Players can accumulate up to 3,000 Pokémon with a $5 per year fee.
