Manny Pacquiao next fight news 2015: Not planning any more treatment in the U.S.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum was livid when he found out that Manny Pacquiao was missing some rehab sessions and from the looks of it, he wants to make sure that the Filipino boxer-lawmaker is indeed on the road to proper recovery.

It may be recalled that Pacquiao underwent surgery for his injured right shoulder right after his loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. last May.

Pacquiao has since been keeping himself busy helping out his countrymen and the local basketball scene as the Philippines vie to possibly host the FIBA World Cup in 2019. He is hopeful that he can influence the FIBA body to grant the Philippines the right to host the cage wars four years from now.

In a recent interview with Nick Giongco of Tempo Sports, Pacquiao shared that his shoulder feels a whole lot better.

"I am doing good and I can now move my arm without feeling any pain," Pacquiao said in the interview.

Pacquiao is likely to be given the green light to fight once more by April or May next year with no definite opponent yet in mind.

There are some who believe that Pacquiao could possibly face Mayweather once more, even though both fighters have ruled out any rematch.

Such was all the more speculated when Mayweather opted to face Andre Berto rather than a supposedly "solid" fighter. Many believe that this could be a tune-up match as Mayweather looks forward to another fight in 2016 despite earlier reports stating that his September tiff would be his last.

Pacquiao has limited movement on the surgically repaired shoulder. As he mentioned before, the only sport he could do for now is chess.

As far as boxing is concerned, if a rematch against Mayweather doesn't happen, the Filipino boxing icon could pull out earlier plans to face former sparring partner Amir Khan.

Khan was snubbed again as Mayweather's potential opponent in September. Hence, a showdown between Khan and Pacquiao could materialize by early 2016.
