"One Piece Film: Gold" might feature the most epic crossover yet. Rumor has it that iconic manga character Naruto will make an appearance in the film.

Reports have it that the Seventh Hokage and the Straw Hat Pirates will cross paths in the film through a cameo appearance by the former, which is said to involve noodles.

In Japan, part of the promotion for "One Piece Film: Gold" is the "One Piece" noodle product that will be packaged with artwork featuring the said characters as they look in the highly anticipated movie.

There's no other manga or anime with more connections and shout-outs to noodles than another legendary "Naruto," making the character perfect for a "One Piece Film: Gold" cameo.

The beloved character is actually a big fan of ramen and his name is actually a play with the name of the cured fish surimi often found on ramen.

Since "One Piece Film: Gold" is being promoted by the noodles with the help of Myojo Foods Co., Ltd, it would make sense if the noodle fan Naruto will be squeezed in the film to showcase the noodle in some way.

At the moment, folks involved in the film haven't corroborated reports about a possible Naruto cameo in "One Piece Film: Gold," but many fans are up for the crossover.

"One Piece Film: Gold" is set in Gran Tesoro, a so-called absolute sanctuary for well-known pirates, Marines and millionaires governed by golden emperor Guild Tesoro.

The description for the film refers to the area as the "home of the world's greatest entertainment city" and is practically untouched by the World Government.

"One Piece Film" Gold" sees Guild Tesoro as he is "about to take action to satisfy his bottomless ambition which may result in major changes in power relationships in the New World..."

"One Piece Film: Gold" will be released on July 23 to 763 cinemas in Japan, which is the largest for any Japanese film and topping "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F," which was screened in 653 theaters last year.
