A new month is soon to unfold, which means Netflix is throwing in new shows and movies to check out. March will bring in a slew of singing, a bit of magic and a dose of Don Draper, so it's settled. March is bound to be a great month for the lovers of the streaming service.
A Netflix original created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock will be debuting on March 6. "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" follows the antics of the titular character (played by Ellie Kemper) who flees from a doomsday cult and into New York City. She works as a nanny for wealthy Jacqueline and shares a room with an incredibly-talented singer roommate who becomes a robot in Times Square for a living.
On the same day, "Aziz Ansari: Live at Madison Square Garden," the comedian's second Netflix-exclusive standup special, will be available to stream.
Viewers need to get ready to know the murkiest secrets of the four Rayburn siblings from Florida Keys when their black sheep brother comes back. Netflix's most anticipated thriller-drama web-series "Bloodline" will be coming in on March 20. It stars Kyle Chandler as John Rayburn. The other siblings are played by Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini and Sam Shepard.
Season 5 of "Archer" and "Glee" will all be accessible starting March 7 while part of season 7 of "Mad Men" can be watched by March 22. The latter will be drawing to a close beginning April 5 in AMC so having its first half of season 7 should bring excitement for fans of the chain-smoking executive.
The movies to watch out for as the month starts are "The Brothers Grimm" and the new film "30 for 30: Of Miracles and Men." Spell-binding flicks include "Finding Neverland," "Teen Witch" and "Monster High: 13 Wishes." There is also "Evelyn," "Mercy Rule," "Patch Adams" and "Rules of Engagement." On March 5, Netflix subscribers will be treated to 2014 movies "The ABCs of Death 2" and "Food Chains." Another film from last year, "My Own Man," will be on Netflix starting March 6.
On March 9, there are more 2014 movies coming, namely "After the Fall," "Cesar Chavez," "The Angriest Man in Brooklyn," and "Tyler Perry's The Single Moms Club." The next day, the fresh-from-the-silver-screen "Monster High: Haunted" will be accessible. Come March 11, the Oscar-nominee "How to Train Your Dragon 2" will captivate viewers. By March 15, subscribers must prepare for "Marvel & ESPN Films Present: 1 of 1: Genesis." On the same day, classic television sitcom from 1987 "A Different World"— from season 1 all the way to season 7— will be in the service. An alien expedition will get off the ground on the same day as all seasons of "Third Rock From the Sun" will be added to the March library.
More cool stuff are set to join in as the latter half of March kicks in. "Dummy" and "You're Not You" on March 17, "Life Itself" on March 19, "God's Not Dead" on March 20 and "November Man" on March 23. By March 25, season 1 of "Garfunkel and Oates" and "Turn" can be viewed. The movie string continues with "Frankie & Alice" on March 27, and "Ask Me Anything" and "The Man With the Iron Fists" on March 31.
