"NCIS" fans are going to miss the gang for a week because the next episode won't air until next Tuesday, Feb. 9.
But when the show returns, they will deal with a whole new case involving a deep sea diver. Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) team will investigate the killing of the diver, whose body is inside a "high-tech decompression tank." The crime fighters will have to do their investigation from the outside, while the corpse along with suspects must remain inside for four days until the case is solved.
According to the Futon Critic, Maya Stojan will guest star in the episode titled "Decompressed." She will portray the role of deep-sea diver Meredith Ragen.
It was previously reported that actress Pauley Perrette, who plays Abby in the series, is excited about this episode since she can relate to it in some way. Perette's fiancé is a professional diver that she even revealed she brought him to the set during filming.
In one of the future episodes, the team will be back with another case, this time it involves the kidnapping of the Secretary of Navy's daughter, according to CarterMatt. Leslie Hope will play the role of the distraught mother and this case is expected to be big since the NCIS team will join forces with the FBI.
McGee (Sean Murray) will also reunite with his childhood friend, NCIS Special Agent Valerie Page, played by Christina Chang, as she arrives in town to provide assistance to the team.
In the episode, a familiar character will also come back. FBI Agent Tobias Fornell, played by Joe Spano, will return and it's expected to be an interesting reunion between him and Gibbs since the two are good friends. But how their reunion will turn out, considering there's a kidnapping going on, remains to be seen.
"NCIS" season 13 airs Tuesdays, 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
