'NCIS' season 13: Pauley Perrette talks about Michael Weatherly's departure

When news broke out that Michael Weatherly, who is popular for playing the goofy Tony Dinozzo in "NCIS," is leaving the show after the current season, a lot of fans were shocked and sad. Even Weatherly's co-star, Pauley Perrette, who plays the quirky Abby, was affected by the actor's decision.

Speaking to Extra, the 46-year-old actress revealed how much she's going to miss Weatherly once he makes his exit.

"This is the sound of my heart breaking," she said. "Michael's my brother. I love him with all of my heart."

As much as a lot of people want to know the reason for Weatherly's exit, Perrette didn't say anything as she also can't explain why. She mentioned that it took four hours for the actor to explain everything to her, so she might also have a hard time explaining it herself. More importantly, the actress said, "It's not my story to tell."

Meanwhile, Perrette and the rest of the "NCIS" team will be on a short break, and fans will catch them again on Feb. 9 for episode 14, "Decompressed."

A deep see diver was killed while he's working and his dead body and his co-workers must go through a "high-tech decompression chamber for four days," as stated in CarterMatt. This means that all those people who were with the victim should stay in the tank for that specific number of days, even if they aren't guilty of anything, while investigation is ongoing.

The whole investigative team will do their job from outside a tank. Maya Stojan will appear as a guest star.

This particular episode was described by Perrette as "exciting" since her fiancé is also a professional scuba diver. She shared that she even brought him during the filming of that particular episode.

"NCIS" season 13 will return on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
