More playable characters are confirmed to be included in the roster of fighters in the soon-to-be-released "Mortal Kombat X" game.

Over the weekend, game developer NetherRealm Studios released a trailer that announced the inclusion of human gunslinger Erron Black. The character was introduced via the game's prequel comic early this year, and "Mortal Kombat X" will be the first game that will feature the Western gunfighter.

The trailer shows Black as an expert in gun handling. He displays his skills by handling two pistols at a time. His accuracy when it comes to pistols seems to be unrivaled as he is shown firing the guns that hit different body parts of his opponents. The cowboy's Fatality can be seen after he fires at the body of his enemy, tosses a sand bomb in the same area, then shoots a grenade at the same time. As a result, the sand comes out of the opponent's wound, ears, eyes, and mouth.

Erron Black will use a rifle, several pistols, and tons of ammos as his weapons of choice.

Aside from Black, Kung Lao's cousin and highly skilled archer Kung Jin is also confirmed to be another new character in the upcoming combat game. Although little information is given about what Kung Jin can do in "Mortal Kombat X," he is expected to utilize his battle prowess using his bow and arrows to attack an enemy.

Also, several reports claim that Goro will be appearing in the game. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced back in September that he will be included in the pre-order package. Predator, on the other hand, will also be available as downloadable content.

"Mortal Kombat X" is slated to hit store shelves starting April 14, and it will be available in multiple console versions like PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
